Thanks for visiting the Worcester Tornadoes’ Blog! We’re a baseball team focused on providing great value entertainment for everyone that enters the main gates of Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field. We strive to offer affordable family fun and anything else positive that can come out of a night at the stadium.
Enough with the sales pitch though. We’re happy to have your time and attention online as we look to expand our coverage of the team in ways we never have before. We’ll have special posts from players and team employees, plus constant input from our broadcast team of Nick Gagalis, Davis Vanopdorp and Seth Orensky. We’re going to show you the more personal side of the guys in the jerseys and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the “magic” the front office makes. (Okay, maybe what Nick does isn’t exactly magic. He sure does run around a lot though!)
In addition to our lofty content production goals, we’re making our blog extra beefy so we have a better presence on mobile phones and tablets. WordPress has a very transferrable website format, which you might even be experiencing right now (if you’re reading on a touch screen). We’ll be adding pages about many different things we offer, from camps to birthday parties and more, just like you’ll find on our website worcestertornadoes.com.
We’re also giving an overhaul to the ole’ site to make sure it’s as easy as ever to get the information you need to ensure you have a great time with us at the park this summer and beyond. We’re trying to make everything with the Tornadoes run as smoothly as possible, so don’t be afraid to leave us a suggestion. If it’s something we can fit in between our front office and our MVI’s (most valuable interns, of which we have many), we’ll try it!
